Rae Johnson

Mentor

Seconcea Rae Johnson feels she can relate realistically to Goodale students because of her lived experience. As a teenager she had visualized many goals that she wanted to achive, and now as an adult is working toward reaching the ambitions she visualized years ago. Over the past two years, she has worked in a variety of roles within the mental health and substance use disorder fields including one as an assistant lead mentor at a residential treatment center. She is grateful for the opportunity to be able to pass along her life experiences to students and hopefully have leave an impact that the students will take with them as they pursue healthy choices in life. Originally born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Seconcea Rae has worked in the recovery field for over five years.
